Here’s Honey Grandma (Gayle’s Mom Joyce Campbell) with Jenee checking out the property on January 1, 1989. The reason that she is called Honey Grandma is that Gayle’s Dad always called her Honey so Jenee thought that was her name.
The major feature of the lot was a gully with native tree and bushes. We’d found other lots with gullies, but this lot had the best one.
There was one lot on the other side of the Valley on a street that is called Subida Circle that was mostly gully. It looked like someone had dropped a bomb on it. Plus it was on the north side of the valley which means it would get more direct sunlight and therefore need more water.
